Bridge Semiconductor is a start-up company based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Bridge is completing the development of a low-cost IRFPA (Infrared Focal Plane Array), for high-value commercial applications. The markets for this product are immense and include Driver Vision Enhancement for automobiles, security and surveillance and see- through smoke systems for firefighters.

Bridge has a strong patent position covering its innovative core technology.  The product uses standard submicron semiconductor manufacturing designs and custom MEMS processing. Currently, the company is sampling its units to customers, and is committed to the development of the next generation products.

We are adding key personnel on our processing development teams.


1. Work on the design and process development of the MEMS sensor prototypes in the clean room environment.
2. Improve the current processes of the MEMS sensors and the quality of the PZT sensing materials.
3. Support yield and performance improvement of the existing sensors.
4. Collaborate with internal or external sensor development activities for the next generation products


  • BSEE. Advanced degree (MS or PhD) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience (including graduate research) in MEMS process development and/or PZT thin films. 
  • Hand-on experiences in photolithography, thin film sputtering, RIE, wet processing, metrology, vacuum system operation and other general micro-fabrication processes in clean room environment
  • Experience or familiarity with PZT or piezoelectric materials and sensors a plus
  • Experience in development in a team environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to document process logs
  • Desire to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA
